NEW RESEARCH FROM dating website BeautifulPeople.com has revealed that Limerick people are the ugliest in Ireland.

The research found that Limerick people experienced the highest rates of rejection from the website and therefore had the “least attractive inhabitants” of any city in Ireland.

Harsh enough.

According to BeautifulPeople.com, here is how Ireland’s cities rank, from ugliest to most beautiful.

5. Limerick

It may be the home of national treasures like Rubberbandits and Paul O’Connell, but Limerick is apparently the ugliest city in Ireland.

*sheds tear*

4. Belfast

Meanwhile, Belfast is the second ugliest city in Ireland.

Tell that to Jamie Dornan, eh?

3. Galway

Sure, you might lose your heart to a Galway girl, but it’s not the most attractive city in Ireland.

2. Cork

Cork — home of notable rides like Cillian Murphy and Sarah Greene — is the second ridiest county in Ireland.

And the award for most attractive city in Ireland goes to…

Dublin!

The website also revealed that Irish men were the ugliest in the world. Greg Hodge, managing director of BeautifulPeople.com, urged Irish lads to be more considerate when selecting their dating profile photo.

Irish men would fare better if they put more effort into their profile pictures. A topless selfie shot in a seedy room or an image of them at the pub, pint in hand, does not go down well with women.

Worry not, though — we still think ye’re big rides.
